Fish Fry With Masala


Ingredients

500g fish
1 tsp salt.
1 tsp lime juice.
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
½ tsp ginger paste.
½ tsp garlic paste.
Few curry leaves.
2 dry chillies.
1 tsp coriander seeds.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
1 tsp fennel seeds.
1 tsp mustard seeds.
1 tsp fenugreek seeds.
4-5 pepper corns.
¾ tsp chillie powder.
1 onion chopped.
1 Tomato chopped.
½ tsp sugar.

Method
Marinate the fish with salt, lime juice, turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste and keep for 1 hour. 

Roast the coriander, cumin, fennel, mustard, fenugreek and the pepper corn for 2 minutes and grind to a fine powder.
Heat 2 tbsp oil and add the fish and fry for 2 minutes.

Add the curry leaves and the dry chillies and cook till half done. 

Add the tomatoes and the ground spices and cook for few minutes. 

Add the chillie powder, onions and ¼ cup water and cook for a few minutes. 

Add sugar and cook for 1 minute. 

Take off the fire and serve while it’s hot.
