Chicken in Yoghurt and Mint



Ingredients
1 chicken.
1 tsp turmeric powder.
11/2 tsp salt.
1 small cup yoghurt.
2 onions grated.
1 tsp ginger paste.
1 tsp garlic paste.
2 cardamom pods.
1 clove.
1 inch cinnamon.
4 bay leaves.
1½ tsp pepper powder.
1 tbsp gram masala.
1½ tsp paprika.
2 cups chicken stock or stock cubes.
5 tbsp chopped mint.
3 tbsp oil.

Method
Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, salt and yoghurt for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the ginger garlic paste and the grated onion.
Fry till the onions become brown.
Add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and the bay leaves.
Fry for 2 minutes.
Add the pepper powder, gram masala and paprika.
Fry for 2 more minutes.
Add the marinated chicken and the stock.
 
Bring to boil and cover and cook till the chicken is tender.
Add the mint and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve hot with rice or any roti.
