Ingredients
250g beetroots.
2 tbsp oil.
¼ tsp mustard seeds.
Few curry leaves.
3 green chillies cut.
½ big onions cut finely.
¾ tsp salt.
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
¼ tsp Chillie powder.
Method
Cut the beetroot into matchstick size pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
When it’s cracking add the curry leaves and green chillies.

Stir fry for 1 minute.
Add the onion and stir for 1 minute
Add the onion and stir for 1 minute
Add the beetroot, turmeric powder, chillie powder and salt and fry.
Fry in moderate heat while turning the beetroot.
Fry for about 15-20 minutes.
Serve with plain rice.
