Ingredients
1 pint milk.
3 eggs separated.
4 tbsp corn flour.
1 cup sugar.
1 chopped pineapple stewed with 1 cup sugar.
1 tbsp gelatin.
1/8 cup water.
50g chopped nuts.
1 tsp vanilla.
Yellow colouring.
Method
Dissolve the sugar and milk and allow to boil.
Dissolve corn flour in ½ cup water and add to the milk.
Stir till it becomes thick custard.
Remove from fire and add the lightly beaten yolks.
Add vanilla and cool.
Stew the pineapple with the sugar.
Mix the gelatin with 1/8 cup water and double boil.
Beat the egg whites till stiff.
Add the gelatin and beat.
Fold the egg white mixture in the custard.
Add the stewed pineapple to the custard.
Add yellow colouring and sprinkle some nut.
Set it in a dish for 4-5 hours.
Decorate with pineapple and caramelized nuts.
