My sister requested for this recipe for my niece’s 2nd year birthday party. So I am publishing this recipe specially for my sister and for my niece as she loves to eat bread. I am sure you will be able to do this by looking at the picture. This is a very colourful sandwich which can be served for any party. Good luck.
Ingredients
2 lb unsliced sand witch bread.
½ tin of tuna.
1½ tbsp mayonnaise.
6 tbsp butter.
1½-2 tsp mustard cream.
Salt.
Pepper.
150g boiled and mashed potato.
150g boiled and mashed beetroot.
150g boiled and mashed carrot.
Method
Ask your local baker to slice a loaf of fresh bread lengthways.
Mix the tuna and the mayonnaise and keep aside.
Mix the butter and the mustard cream with little salt and pepper and make a paste.
Mix 2 tbsp of the mustard butter paste with potato and green colouring and keep aside.
Mix 2 tbsp of the mustard butter paste with beetroot and keep aside.
Mix 2 tbsp of the mustard butter paste with carrot and keep aside.
If your baker has not sliced the bread keep the bread in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
Cut the bread into lengthways.
Lay the sliced bread and trim crusts off.
Roll with a rolling pin to make it soft.
Mark the bread into four.
Apply potato cream to 1st part of the bread.
Apply beetroot cream to 2nd part of the bread.
Apply tuna cream to 3rd part of the bread.
Apply carrot cream to 4th part of the bread.
Roll the sliced bread slowly and tightly like a Swiss roll.
Wrap it with a cling film tightly and keep it aside.
Do the rest of the bread slices the same way or with two kind of vegetables.
