Mango Rice



Ingredients
500g cooked rice.
2 raw or half riped mangoes grated.
2 tsp cumin seeds.
1 tsp fenugreek seeds.
5-6 dried red chillies.
¼ tsp Asafoetida.
1 tsp turmeric powder.
½ tsp salt.
¼ tsp mustard seeds.,
1 tsp urud dhal.
1 tsp channa dhal.
2 green chillies cut finely.
Few curry leaves.

Method
Heat little oil in a pan.
Fry the cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and dried chillies separately.
Add the asafoetida and grind all the fried spices to a paste.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the mustard seeds, urud dhal, channa dhal, green chillies and curry leaves.
 
Fry for 2 minutes.
Add the grated mangoes, turmeric powder and salt. Fry for 5 minutes.
 
Add the ground paste and mix well.
 
Add the rice and mix.
 
If its too sour add some sugar.
Serve with any curry you like.
