Fish with Coconut Milk


Ingredients 
500g white fish 
½ a onion cut finely 
1 tomato cut into cubes
½ tsp fenugreek seeds
1” piece cinnamons stick
1 tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
1 tsp chillie powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp lime juice
2 tbsp oil
Few curry leaves
½ tsp mustard
1 cup 3rd extract coconut milk (thin milk)
1 cup 1st and 2nd extract coconut milk (thick milk)

Method
Marinate the fish with ginger paste, garlic paste, ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds, salt, lime juice, turmeric powder, chillie powder and curry powder for 1 hour.
  
Heat oil in a pan in moderate heat.
Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.

When it starts cracking add onions and fry till its soft.
 
Add the tomatoes and fry for a few minutes.

Add the marinated fish and fry for few minutes.
Add the thin coconut milk and cover and cook in moderate heat.
 
When the fish is cooked add the thick coconut milk and allow to boil. Serve with plain rice or string hoppers.
