Ingredients
8 ozs plain biscuits crushed
3 tbsp golden syrup
3 ozs butter
3 ozs sugar
2 ozs Cadju nuts
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Method
Melt the golden syrup, butter and sugar over low fire till sugar dissolves.
Do not let it boil. Add the cocoa powder all at once.
Once it has dissolved add the biscuits and chopped nuts.
Mix well.
Press into a buttered shallow dish and leave to harden for about 5 to 10 mins and cut into small squares.
Now just simply enjoy.
Note. This cake can be made within 15 mins. When you get unexpected guests this is a good treat.
