Chicken with Onion Wedges



Ingredients
500g chicken
2 tsp lime juice
1 tsp salt                                                      
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
Marinate the above for 1/2 hour.

2 big onions cut into wedges.
1½ tbsp tamarind juice.

Sauce Mixer
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp pepper powder                                      
1 tsp sugar
1-2 tbsp tomato sauce

Method

Heat 2 tbsp oil and add the chicken and cook for 7 minutes.

Cover with a lid and cook in low flame till its ¾ done.
Add the sauce mixture and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the tamarind juice and cook for few minutes.
Add the onions and mix well.

Serve hot with rice.



Note: if you like can add some spring onions after mixing the sauce.
