Arabic Dumplings



Ingredients
250g plain flour
2 eggs
2 tsp yeast
¼ tsp or little less salt
Water

Method
Mix all the ingredients to make a thick batter. It should be thicker than the pan cake batter.
Leave for about ½ an hour covered.

Heat oil in a pan in moderate heat.
Take a table spoon of batter and drop into the oil and deep fry.



It should be a golden brown colour.

Coat it in the sugar syrup.

Serve while its hot.



Sugar Syrup

Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups sugar

Method

Heat sugar and water together in a pan, until the sugar dissolves.
Keep on stirring; let it boil for 2-3 minutes and become a little thick.
Remove from heat.
